Vendor risk and renewal console
verified_user Sentinel.
A working console that scores vendor risk against a transparent policy, reviews contracts for the terms that matter, and tracks renewal deadlines so auto-renewals never catch you out.
In a previous operations role I owned third-party vendor risk and contract review. I built an AI-assisted workflow that scored vendors against our policy, flagged the concerning terms buried in contracts, and tracked renewal deadlines. This is a clean, public re-creation of that workflow, running on fictional data. The scoring is transparent, the weighting is a human decision, and the AI does the heavy reading while a person keeps the judgment.
info This is a portfolio demonstration. All vendors, contracts, and figures are invented. AI-generated analysis is illustrative and is not legal advice. Built by Jonathan Henderson.
Risk and renewal dashboard
All dates are computed relative to today, so the countdowns always look live. Every vendor here is fictional.
Countdown colour: under 30 days, under 60 days, otherwise neutral. Rows you add from the scorer or the contract analyzer are kept in memory for this session only.
Score a vendor
Assess a vendor against the policy. The points are computed in code, so the maths is the objective part; the weighting is a human choice you can change below.

The scoring policy
Higher points mean higher risk. A recognised certification is the one credit, because an independent audit lowers risk. These weights are illustrative and configurable.
Analyze a contract
Paste contract text, or load a fabricated sample. Each sample has a few planted issues to find.
gavel Illustrative AI analysis on fictional text. Not legal advice.

How this works
The risk score is computed in code from a transparent, weighted policy, so the maths is objective and reproducible. The AI writes the assessment and reads the contracts; it never invents the numbers.
Live AI runs are rate-limited per visitor and capped per day. If a cap is hit, or there is no key, the demo falls back to a worked example or a templated read. Pasted text is treated as data, never as instructions.
Nothing you enter is stored. The API key lives only on the server and never reaches your browser. Every vendor, contract, and figure here is fictional.
